Classes start Sunday Jan 12th 2025

Classes will run every Sunday either at 12pm or 1:15pm for 6 weeks with the last class on Feb 16th

Classes will be held at the Pacific County Fairgrounds in Menlo, WA

Classes will be held under the large sheltered area but will be primarily outdoors

Classes are $250 for 6 weeks meeting for one hour once a week

Classes will be small groups with 4-6 dogs and their people.

Group classes combine learning, community and fun!

The environment will be low pressure, safe, and relaxed.

• Eye contact with handler 

• Hand target (recall)

• Lay on a mat on cue 

• Politely greeting new humans 

• Walking on leash without pulling (loose heel)

• Put two paws up on a platform 

Each week you and your dog will be given a homework assignment to practice, videos to watch, and short reading assignments.

Class participants are encouraged to reach out with questions about class materials/assignments

Classes will be taught by Dax Williams.

Dax is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), is Certified in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington (UW-AAB), and is certified FearFree.

Dax has been practicing force-free, positive reinforcement based dog training for 6 years.

This class is designed for dogs that are in good health, over the age of 6 months, and do not have a history of aggressive behavior toward other dogs or people.
